Is the Fiverr Affiliate Program an ideal fit for you?
Of course, It’s up for you to decide if the Affiliate Program is a good fit for you, but if any segment of your target audience is interested in outsourcing tasks or mundane work then the answer is probably “Yes”.
For example, imagine a scenario where you write a blog post or website article on Search Engine Optimization. You could easily monetize the post by including a link to Fiverr for your reader to hire a professional to do the task.
Another example: You might write about the importance of proofreading when blogging or creating articles. Why not include a link to Fiverr where your reader can hire a Proofreader and at the same moment, you get paid commission for the referral?
By the way, the Affiliate Program is available globally, not just to Australians, and financial numbers are in US Dollars.
How much does Fiverr pay for a referral?
Commissions range from $15 through to $150 per referral depending on the product or service the end user buys. The scheme is known as the Fiverr CPA Plan.
For instance, if the person you referred invested in a promotional video then you’d earn $25 for the referral. Web Design would net you $30, Music Videos $40, Whiteboard & Explainer videos $50. An investment in a Fiverr Pro Plan by the person referred would net you a $150 commission.
There is an additional option to promote Fiverr Learn, an e-learning platform. Your earnings are based on a revenue share when you refer people to courses offered by Fiverr. There is a good selection of creative classes and digital marketing courses put together by some of the best pros in their respective fields. Check them out.
The target audience for the courses, products and services ranges from Entrepreneurs and small business through to large corporate enterprises.
The Fiverr Affiliate Cookie And Why It’s Important
When you sign up for the Fiverr Affiliate Program, you are provided with a unique tracking link. The link contains a unique Affiliate ID, so the merchant knows you sent traffic arriving on their website.
You use the tracking link on your website or social media to direct visitors to the merchant’s website.
The merchant (Fiverr) stores your affiliate ID in a tiny text file (known as a cookie) in the visitor’s web browser. Cookies are used to track website visitors.

Every cookie has an expiry date; likewise, Fiverr puts a whopping 12 Months Expiry on their cookie.
What this means in simple terms, is that if the person you referred purchases a service from Fiverr within a year from initially clicking your link then you get credited with the sale. The credit happens even if they didn’t click your link during their return to the website.
The period is known as the “Cookie Life“, and a year-long Cookie life is superb in the world of Affiliate Marketing.
How and When Do You Get Paid By Fiverr?
Payments are available from Fiverr once your account reaches the $100 threshold. Once you’ve reached it, you’ll be able to request your payment at the beginning of the following month.
For example, if during January you exceed the threshold, you will be able to request your payment at the beginning of February.
Commissions are paid once a month on a net 30 basis.
Fiverr pay affiliates using Paypal.

I had no idea Fiverr had an affiliate marketing program. It sounds like the program could be very useful for a lot of people, and it’s something I think I’ll look into too!
Just looking into affiliate programs that are good but this one sound great, with a year time! Thanks for the recommendation!
Fiverr is so good; I’ve used some services from Fiverr before and I wasn’t disappointed. I find it nice that they have an affiliate program and I’d love to join it.
I have tried using fiverr once and the freelancer I hired managed to take my website down and erase all my plugins. The support from Fiverr closed my case and I was unable to leave a reference, so other people will get scammed again by hiring this guy. I have noticed that it is almost impossible to leave negative references if a project went bad. So I will never use this website again, and never recommend anyone to use it!
At this moment, I am on the lookout for good affiliate marketing programs for my blog. Clickbank should have passed its prime. I will definitely look into Fiverr.
As a blogger and a coach for entrepreneurs (including freelancers) I think this is valuable information and have made a note to look into this further – didn’t know they HAD an affiliate program.
