SEMrush is an award winning Search Engine Optimization (SEO) suite with over 2.5 million users. The company behind the platform, beRush run an Affiliate Program allowing you to promote their software platform on your website, blog or social media channels in return for commission payments.
Is the SEMrush Affiliate Program an ideal fit for you to promote?

First, the Affiliate Program is available globally, not just to Australians, and financial numbers are in US Dollars.
If you have a readership where Search Engine Optimization or Website Marketing is of interest and value to your users, then SEMrush should be an excellent platform to promote.
For example, imagine a scenario where you write a blog post or website article on Search Engine Optimization or Website Marketing. You could monetize the post by including a link to SEMrush. If your readers decide to utilise the tools of the platform, then you get paid a commission.
How much do beRush pay for an SEMrush referral?
As an affiliate, you will earn 40% commission for all newly acquired SEMrush subscription purchases that came through your affiliate link.
Commissions are recurring so you will get 40% of what a referral pays beRush every month until they stop paying for a subscription.
Bearing in mind, the SEMrush plans are $99.95 (Pro), $199.95 (Guru) and $399.95 (Business) per month, then this will net you anywhere between $40 and $160 each month per referral.
The target audience for the products ranges from Entrepreneurs and small business through to large corporate enterprises. People who aren’t afraid of spending money on industry-leading SEO analysis and promotional tools are the ideal referral.
The SEMrush Cookie
When you sign up for the SEMrush Affiliate Program, you are provided with a unique tracking link. The link contains a unique Affiliate ID, so the merchant knows you sent traffic arriving on their website.
SEMrush utilizes a first cookie attribution model, so if a user originally landed on their website from your reference link, then you will receive commission on all their purchases from SEMrush, provided that the cookie life period didn’t expire. So if the referral is originally yours, you will receive commission from their account renewals, after gaps in payments, as well as for their upgrades.

The semRush affiliate cookie has an expiry date of ten years. This is an excellent cookie life.
How and When Do You Get Paid?
Commission payments are made upon reaching a minimum threshold of $50. If you haven’t reached it yet, the amount will be transferred to the next payout period. Payments are made on the 10th and 25th days of each month when your account balance reaches $50 or more for the previous months’ transactions.
